the marriage of Sophrenie C. St
Amand of
Canada to Francis Roussel also of Canada and both are of French

& Francis Roussel 's Granddaughter Delina Russell, married Irish descendent George J. Losty
in Holyoke Massachusetts connecting the
Losty family with the St-Amand family on May 22, 1905.

The surname suffix "St Amand" was
added to 1 of 3 children, belonging to Jacques Lebret & Jeanne
Chevret -- their only son Michel Lebret
St Amand. All
of Michel's Lebret St
Amand's children carried the same name as he, Lebret St Amand.
However, as the years passed by, some of Michel's descendents kept
the name "Lebret St Amand" and some of them dropped
"Lebret" leaving only the
latter part of their name St Amand as reflected in the names of
their children's descendents and in our very own beloved Sophrenie
